It's 2010! 2010 promises to be a busy year. The showcases hit 100 in March with a big celebration, my children's musical, Stanley's Party premieres at Manhattan Children's Theater in April, and my 7th cabaret act of original songs, I'll Relax When I'm Dead premieres in May. Not to mention Broadway Meows 2 in July and Broadway Can! 2 in November. FYI, I am always having ongoing auditions for my weekly showcases at Don't Tell Mama and, as always, check out the Seth Store, where you can purchase sheet music to 50 of my songs. Audio recordings and youtube videos of my 6th cabaret, Writer's Block, my 2 recent solo shows, Seth Sings Bisen-Hersh and Seth Sings More Bisen-Hersh, and the demo cd of my new musical, More to Love, are available on the Songs page. For an even more detailed account of what I'm up to, visit the LEDGERS page.

On July 20, 2009,
a benefit concert for the HUMANE SOCIETY OF NY was a huge success. The concert featured Elyse Beyer, Seth Bisen-Hersh, Brian Childers, Jenna Coker-Jones, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, Westley Todd Holiday, Autumn Hurlbert, Christopher Kale Jones, Mary Orzano, Zach Reiner-Harris, Sarah Rice, Brandon Ruckdashel and Darryl Winslow. The following is a transcript of a review by Mark Savitt of the Manhattan Cable show, HI! DRAMA: Broadway Meows was a really enjoyable benefit concert for the Humane Society of New York. I felt bad I didn't have any extra money to give them, so please contribute if you can. It featured the songs of Seth Bisen-Hersh, and he was like the emcee. I had never seen him before so I didn't really know him, but his first song was about being obsessive compulsive, and he certainly seems to be but in a charming and funny way. And his friends, including the incredibly handsome Brandon Ruckdashel, were singing songs about being animals, or being rejected in love or wanting to find a lover, putting up pictures of their cats and dogs. Brandon didn't have any cat, but he put up a picture of his favorite Kitty... Kitty Carlisle... it was really nice, and Don't Tell Mama's a fun place to be, so if they do something like this again - please go! I adopted Smee on 8/29/07: |
